EDL streamlines it’s Sales channels in New Zealand.
As of Monday 12 December, we have streamlined the sales channels in which we ‘go to market’ for both the North and South Island. Retail shops in Whangarei, Hamilton, Auckland, New Plymouth, Timaru, and Dunedin have all been closed with the view that our resources will be better utilized servicing our many customers directly through Inventory systems and direct orders shipped from our remaining 4 warehouses.
Our Auckland and Christchurch DC’s, as well as our smaller footprint warehouses in Mt Maunganui and Wellington will remain (with their respective Trade counters).
This change in strategy will help create the efficiencies required for our current and future growth, as we see a strong uptake of Kanban, Kanban Lite, VMI and StockBox systems from many current and also new customers. While we recognise that several customer will feel inconvenienced if their local shop has closed, the local sales rep is still available and is keen to discuss how we can help install one of these systems to add real value to your business.
